The AFFORDABLE HOUSING BUILDERS AND DEVELOPERS’ ASSOCIATION is the apex body for private real estate developers who are involved in the affordable housing development in Maharashtra. Its head quartered at Mumbai. The association is headed by Founder President Hon’ble Mr. Rajendra Sukhdev Mirgane a professional Civil Engineer / Entrepreneur having vast / versatile experience over 25 years in the construction and real estate field, especially remarkable presence and contribution in affordable housing development sector. He also worked as Joint Chairman of the Maharashtra Housing Development Corporation Ltd. which was a Cabinet Minister level position. There are several prestigious awards on his name for his excellent performance. He himself initiated efforts in forming this association for the benefit of the members / stakeholders and his major contribution in framing current Affordable Housing / PMAY Policies from the Government.
It’s a state level young association formed / registered in the month of April 2022 which has a capability to connect entire affordable housing developer fraternity of the Maharashtra State. Due to such state level association, we can approach Central and State level Authorities in policy formation relating to the affordable housing sector issues being faced. The strong connections with the state and central authorities have become easier for us to protect the interest of home buyers and all other stake holders where our voice is heard. Association focuses on resolving the issues like Building Permit process, EC Clearance process, Subsidy related issues from State and Central Govt., 3rd party Assessment issues, Construction Workers subsidy, revision in DPR, UC related issues, Land related issues etc.
Association is in the process of upgrading the website. With the upgradation proposing to link to provide information regarding projects products of member developers, updated list of association members, e-news / events, Govt circulars, notifications and judgements to directly benefit the members and DC Rules / Guidelines / any other information through this website. There will be online membership application forms for new members. In members area there will be discussion group, also, if possible, there will be link to blogs or social media. Link will be provided to all the sites required by developers like IGR, Stamp Duty, Valuation of property, Ready Reckoner etc. Information of CSR-Activities of Members will be on the website.
